HIM is a rock band (or commonly referred to a “love metal” band by fans) hailing from Helsinki, Finland. The band was initially formed by vocalist Ville Valo, bassist Mikko Paananen and guitarist Mikko Lindström in 1991. They have released seven full length studio albums to date, and have finished their eighth album, entitled Tears On Tape, which is to be released in late April 2013. The current lineup is as follows:
